The Personal Assistant to the Principal will provide high-level confidential administrative support to the Principal, will work autonomously to represent the Principal and the School to internal and external stakeholders and will assist the Principal to remain accessible for matters that require direct involvement. Your warm and approachable manner along with your professionalism and discretion will be key to your success in this role.The Personal Assistant to the Principal is responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the Principal’s Office, playing a proactive role in ensuring administrative responsibilities are undertaken in an efficient, professional and timely manner.This is a full-time ongoing position with some requirement to work over the school term breaks.What you bring Substantial experience in an Executive Assistant role with experience providing complex administrative support in a high-profile environment with tact and diplomacy. Demonstrated initiative in completing tasks to tight deadlines and the flexibility to handle constantly changing priorities and unexpected demands. Exceptional organisational skills with an eye for detail. Proven ability to collaborate, partner and build effective and professional relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Well-developed interpersonal and communications skills (both written and verbal). Professionalism of the highest standard and outstanding personal presentation. Demonstrated capacity to maintain discretion and sensitivity when dealing with confidential matters. Advanced computer skills and working knowledge of database management systems as well as the capacity to learn and use in-house database systems. Similar experience in an independent school is desirable.The successful applicant will Have initiative, a can-do positive attitude and is a person who can balance multiple competing priorities, meet timeframes and perform in a high-pressure environment with limited direction.
